With the upcoming release of the Gears of War franchise, Xbox users were given the Media Experience of playing the beta, which gave users insights into the Gears of War 4 Pre-launch.

We learn the Gears of War 4 Media Experience had a vertical scroll real estate that had a decline in users' engagement in a section.


Solution


With the updated version of the Media Experience, the team shorted out the length of the layout into two parts in providing the users with a viewport of the second layout.


This increases user engagement and access to exclusive content easily.

Friends Playing Now


In this experience, we adopted a "Friend's playing now" feature

a button that provides a better list of your friends and social functionality.

Campaign


The layout shows insights into the new characters, weapons, trailers,

and trivia, which allows users to easily navigate the items from top to bottom.

Quiz


The quiz explores to test your knowledge and challenge other users to become part of the leaderboard.
